Warm Fuzzies
Well we made it! Our Roaring 2o’s Wedding Show was another great success, a lot of gabbing and a lot of whoopee! We’d like to thank everyone for coming out to see the show, and of course, would like to thank all of our incredible participants; our newest Auxiliary Members: Californos, Hammerpress, Hitched Wedding & Event Planning, Humanature Salon, Kdog Photographers, and Kirsten Paludan of Good Show! Music; and our newest Portfolio Members: Birdies Panties, It’s So You Wardrobe Consulting and Melissa Lin Ellis Photography.
Special thanks go out to the people who bent over backwards to make sure our show was just as dazzling as it gets, Amber Christman of Humanature who transformed the models into walking works of art, Matt Tady our oh-so-dapper MC, the ever-talented Kirsten Paludan & her musicians, The Pitch Weekly for sponsering our event & sending Rachel Short of the Street Team with goodies in hand, the boys from The Farmhouse for providing the supremely delicious food, and of course, Pete Herber of the Terrace on Grand for allowing us to turn his gorgeous space into such a jazzy party!
We’d also like to thank everyone who bid on items in our silent auction as well as all of our participants and friends who donated such incredible items & services. Through this auction we were able to raise enough money for Spay & Neuter KC to provide 24 surgeries for animals in need!!! Wow-zahs!!! See their wonderful letter below:
Thanks again for inviting us to be involved in your program last night. We really enjoyed ourselves and meet some great people. The monies raised last night total enough for us to purchase several months of dog food, OR will cover 24 surgeries, etc… Thanks so very much for helping us help our community. It is such a creative and gracious way to help the non-profits in our community and I certainly hope you set the standards for start-ups in KC!
