Check out this blog article written by sweet Jeanee of Kansas City’s Dirty Laundry. Jeanee is a local blogger who also runs her own business making hand-sewn aprons and bath fizzies. She does a feature a few times a month on another local artist, crafter, or business owner, and last week it was Wedding Hive member Michelle Dreher of Two Tone Press, who creates beautiful letterpress and relief print works on paper. Read the full article on the Dirty Laundry Blog. Good work Michelle, and thanks to Jeanee for supporting local artists!

Scarlett Garnet, one of the core members of the Wedding Hive launched their newest jewelry line at the beginning of April. During their monthly First Friday event patrons perused the brand new designs and also enjoyed photos from the new look book shot by Kelley Photo. True to the Scarlett Garnet aesthetic the collection features found objects, naturally shaped stones, and lots of copper. However new methods have also brought a sophisticated new look with an art nouveau flair.
Find out more about Scarlett Garnets Spring/Summer 2010 line on their website. Also see the complete look book and become a facebook fan here: Scarlett Garnet on Facebook.
