First Friday with the Wedding Hive: Genevieve Flynn Studios and Scarlett Garnet Studios
In spite of the lovely weather this weekend many a dedicated friend and art lover made the trek to the Crossroads District for February First Friday. On the Wedding Hive’s list of stops was Genevieve Flynn Studios. Guests were welcomed with wine, valentines day candy, and a selection of her fantastic work, including some of our favorites pictured below. Genevieve is ever the gracious hostess, always offering personal attention to each of her visitors and fans.
Next we popped around the corner to Scarlett Garnet Studios. A new space in the Crossroads located in the Locust Factory, the studio houses a lovely selection of vintage furniture, work by local artists, and of course jewelry designs by the lovely ladies of Scarlett Garnet. Guests enjoyed complimentary brew and tunes. With lots of sitting room and a laid back atmosphere, this space is a perfect stop on the First Friday tour to kick up your feet and enjoy art and friends.
